A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after being involved in a road traffic collision on the A379 between Kenton and Starcross.
Police were called shortly before 7.45am on Thursday, July 24 after a male motorcyclist was trapped under the red Mitsubishi Shogun, registered to Bristol.
The 27-year-old Teignmouth man was treated at the scene by paramedics after being freed by the fire service, and then taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
Police say the biker suffered life threatening injuries.
The serious collisions investigation unit carried out an investigation of the scene.
The A379 was closed at the Powderham turn-off and on the other side of Kenton.
Highways helped with diversions from the Matford roundabout on the Exeter side, and from Starcross onto the A380.
Any witnesses are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 168 of 24 July.
