SEATON Tramway, the unique heritage Tramway and tourist attraction in the Heart of Lyme Bay is offering a great family day out in Devon on Friday, August 1 “Pirate Day”, when the Seaton Pearl tram will once again set sail from Seaton following the Axe Estuary to Colyton.

Seaton Pearl, car No 4, is an open single deck tramcar built at Eastbourne in 1961 and based on the famous Blackpool “open-boat” tramcars of the 1930s. Driven by our Pirate Captain, shiver me timbers, and jump aboard for a swashbuckling time.

All day ‘Explorer’ tickets cost £10 per adult, £5 for children ages 3-15 and children under three accompanied by an adult travel free. This enables you to travel on all trams, all day long including the Pirate Tram.

There are only 20 seats in this tram car, so to avoid disappointment, book your place in advance by phoning 01297 20375 or online at www.tram.co.uk. Lookin’ forward to seein’ ye again aboard the “Seaton Pearl”.
