PEOPLE are being given the opportunity to win an iPad by taking part in a housing survey.
Exeter City Council is working with the University of Exeter to look at housing for the future in the city.
Cllr Rob Hannaford, Lead Councillor for Housing and Customer Access, said: “We’re really keen to hear from people who are not currently registered for social housing. We already know quite a lot about housing need in Exeter because there are over 4,000 households registered on Devon Home Choice, now we want to hear from those not on the list.”
The Council is keen to hear about the housing circumstances of as many people as possible to ensure a fair cross-section of the views of residents, workers and those wishing to move to the city. The information will be used to develop housing and planning policies.
A simple online survey will be available from Monday 1 September. People are invited to share their housing story by going to www.exeter.ac.uk/housingneeds The survey will be available until 21 September. All entries will be treated anonymously and will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win an iPad!
