SUMMER festival hit Tallulah Rendall has announced that she will be playing a Devon show at the Kingskerswell Parish Church.
Tallulah is coming into the gig off the back of three crowd-funded albums, Libellus in 2009, Alive in 2011 and The Banshee and The Moon last year, and the rare accolade of being invited to play Dame Shirley Bassey’s 70th birthday party.
Tallulah has been brought up in the world of eccentricities and music, and is continuing to live that way.
Her mum used to run The Black Sheep, a nightclub that hosted Jimi Hendrix for two weeks while Hey Joe sat at number one in the charts, and her Australian dad once bought a lion called Christian from Harrods.
It is from this upbringing that Tallulah has developed into an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer.
Her supporting act will be Jimmy Ireland, an Exeter based singer/songwriter playing acoustic pop and folk originals
The event is taking place on September 6 with doors opening at 7.00pm, and tickets are £7 when bought in advance from 01803 875527, or www.seetickets.com.
Alternatively tickets can be purchased from 0871 220 0260, or www.skiddle.com.
