HALBERTON Pre-School’s latest inspection results have been described as ‘wonderful’ by Executive Head Teacher Steven Badcott.

The pre-school was graded as ‘outstanding in all areas’, and Mr Badcott believes that the achievement is thoroughly deserved by all at the school.

The Head Teacher thinks that the news won’t come as a surprise to the many happy parents who have taken their children to the pre-school over the years.

Mr Badcott said: “The Inspector's comments in the report were wonderful to read.

“They confirmed what the scores of happy parents over the years, who have entrusted the care of their children to the Pre-School, have always known - that Halberton Pre-School is outstanding.”

OFSTED, the Office for Standards in Education, periodically inspect and grade schools, with ‘Outstanding’ being the top accolade, followed by ‘good’, and then ‘requires improvement’ and ‘inadequate’ are the bottom two grades.

Mr Badcott continued: “The grading of 'outstanding in all areas' is thoroughly deserved and testament to the leadership and hard work of Sharon Webber and her team.

"We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of the Inspection.”
