Man charged after death of baby

A man has been charged over the death of an infant in Plymouth.
Police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a one-month-old baby girl who was admitted to Plymouth’s Derriford Hospitalo n Thursday September 23.
She was taken to the high-dependency unit where, sadly, she died today, Friday 24 September 2010.
Benjamin Roach, 23, has been charged with manslaughter.
He will appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on March 21.
