KEEN players can get ahead with pre-season training by professionals at a rugby boot camp being held at Blundell’s School, Tiverton, during the summer holidays.
Open to girls and boys of all abilities from Under-7 to Under-15 age groups, the two full days of rugby development are taking place on August 26 and 27. The event is being led by former Exeter Chiefs player Tony Yapp, now director of player development and performance at Blundell’s as well as head coach at Exeter University.
Yapp will be bringing in special guest coaches and all will RFU Level 2 and above.
It promises to be a fun but well-run event with small sided games giving everyone the chance to play.
Earlybird booking costs £44 by August 15 or £49 afterwards and everyone will be given a rugby ball to take home.
Drop off is at 9am and pick up 4.15pm at the latest.
