This November, the Fleet Air Arm Museum honours brave military heroes with evocative music and moving stories.
The museum's upcoming commemorations aim to shine a light on the sacrifices made by the men and women of the Fleet Air Arm, and the wider military community, through a variety of events.
One such event is the heartfelt performance by the Yeovilton Military Wives Choir on November 4.
The choir, one of 72 across the UK and abroad, will serenade the audience from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Composed of women linked to the military either personally or through family, the choir provides a support network, fostering solidarity amidst the challenges of service life.
Further, the museum, in conjunction with the Fleet Air Arm Memorial Church, presents a revealing glance into the lives of some who have served and lost their lives in the Royal Naval Air Service and Fleet Air Arm.
The museum will curate pop-up exhibits throughout the month, offering visitors a close encounter with these profound narratives.
Additionally, lookout for commemoration events on the museum’s social media, ranging from thrilling stories from veterans to special exhibitions.
To be part of these inspiring "I was there" volunteer talks and other events, secure a museum ticket at their official website.
